That's my point. No one party should have so much control. Hell, no TWO parties should ever have that much control. There needs to be a set of rules to prevent these parties from becoming so powerful. A president should be elected based on his support by the people, not a party. And here's the kicker, the Vice president should be whoever had the second highest number of votes not the goon the president chose to pretty up his/her ticket.

A true democracy has not existed on this planet since Hellenic times, and that's the problem.
