I forgot to attach them didn't discover until up the mountain and was forced to ride without. I thought it would be a disaster but it felt great. After a few minutes adjustment, I felt totally in tune with the board for the first time all week(was my 3rd week on snow). Yes my heal and toes had nothing under them because of the cutouts in the binding base but I could not feel this through the boot. The binding felt more responsive somehow, more connected. This ever happen to anyone else? I really expected my day to be over before it began, let alone like it. Does that mean:
a) I'd probably like a more responsive binding than the 390?
b) I prefer non canted footbeds.
b) That the reduced stack hight is maybe why it felt good.
c) I'm just mad!
(all of the above??)
I didn't hit any jumps mind, guess I would have missed the cushioning!
Anyway curious to see if there's any insights I can learn from this.
