Ultimately 3cm is not gonna make an enormous difference but there will be a slightly longer learning curve on the longer board because, well, because physics and also the fact that you haven't yet developed a mastery of your snowboarding muscle memory, proper technique, etc. If you can get it in a shorter like 161 I would probably trade in for the smaller size, but if you can't, don't sweat it.
