I sit in the middle and when it's time to get off I extend both arms, take out the 2 buds on either side of me and ride down freely without any worries. Haha
Actually it doesn't really matter where I set. However whenever riding with noob friends I prefer either outer edge so I can immediately peel away to avoid their sometimes full heel slide as if they were on a black diamond
