bought a new board and gna get it tuned for my riding..i do mostly freestyle riding on the mtn, maybe in the park 30% if that, dont like to have anything catchy but still wna hold a edge when i need too..gna get tip & tail detuned from contact points out, and bevel the base edge 1.5 degrees...this is on a capita indoor FK btw...hows it sound?? im pretty sure this is how they tuned my old board and it rode great
yeah, well it was another shop that did my last board, and the guy that tuned it isnt working there now. i just told them to detune tip and tail and do a 1.5" base edge bevel..dno if thats what he did forsure or not, so hoping the new shop will do it about the same..
First I would find out what the factory bevel is. If you know it is zero then 1.5 is probably fine. I know Smokin' come with a 2 degree bevel straight from the factory.
because my 2010 indoor i had would catch on rails before i beveled the base edge, so i know i have to do it cause nothings changed in them on the edges
