Both! lol... Yeah in the last two seasons I've had 50-60 days on my board, and had it tuned at a shop once.

He's being a douche saying they have so much powder in Utah he doesn't even NEED metal edges... I wouldn't skip tuning for the year. If you're riding ice or hardpack you'll want to keep your edges in good shape. If you're not comfortable tuning them yourself, at least get a basic tune every 5-10 days on the hill or so. You'll know what I mean when you get the first edge tune one day!
