look for an average all mountain twin. Most likely you will need a wide board, ~ 155-158 in length. Don't spend too much on board and bindings, chances are you will want something different soon.

Go nuts on boot buying, there are tons of threads about how to do this, they are all pretty much the same.

I prefer traditional lacing and normal 2 strap bindings, having tried other stuff and returned, however many people swear by rear entry bindings, BOA lacing, etc.
