You're correct, it's definitely not the hybrid profile you had in mind. Still, the CC is a pretty solid all-mountain board that holds its own even on the hardpack and icier conditions. It's one that I find myself recommending all the time, mostly because it is a good combination of tech, affordability, and versatility.
