Yep! That is not all that bad. Clean any dirt and grit out and use a Ptex candle to fill it in then sand it flat. Make sure to file the nicks and burrs from your edge as best you can. That is a beautiful area up there....
Thanks! Yeah that's the front side of Lake Louise. So far I'm thrilled with living out here... The season is long, there's usually a powder dump every few weeks or so, and the resorts aren't too crowded. There's a million BC lines too but I'll save that for another year if/when I get bored with the resorts.
Okay so took out my trusty file and filed the edge down (it was raised a little). Gouged out any loose base, cleaned, ptex'd, scraped and now she's ready for wax.
My work doesn't look pretty at all but it's smooth and it should stay in there!
