There are already places where you can walk in with a drivers license and buy a gun, those places are already some of the safest in the U.S., without issues of "unstable" people buying guns and killing people. By adding restrictions, it makes the process harder, longer, more expensive and even completely banned from people who are law abiding - all to stop the .0003% (I made that number up, but I'm willing to bet it's even smaller.) of the population who murder using a hand gun. I believe U.S. errs on the side of Liberty., or at least it used to.
What would you suggest for restrictions?
