Default Re: Burton Cartels
I booked the trip for my wife and I in Novemeber 2011 all non-refundable of course so that I could get the best prices. First week of December I found out the company I was working for was merging with another company and as of Jan 1 I would be unemployed. So yes, I went on a trip in March while I was unemployed. As for how I paid for the ebay transactions, I mentioned to you I have another paypal account in my wife's name that I setup to temporarily circumvent the negative balance in my paypal account. This was done expressly so that I could sell this gear and get all of the money now as things are pretty rocky right now. I paid for the ebay items, a small birthday gift for my brother-in-law, out of my wife's paypal account. I accidentally gave you my paypal account rfrichardson@yahoo.com instead of rfrichardson@gmail.com which is the account in my wife's name. I had a negative balance of ~$210 in my account so after your transaction there is a negative balance left of $33. If anyone were to purchase anything else from me even if I gave them my account info it would cover the negative balance and I could ship everything. Really the only person/entity I was trying to "scam" here is paypal. I think this pretty much explains everything. If you have any other questions I am more than willing to provide answers. If it helps I will provide screen prints of my paypal account, bank account or whatever else will make you feel comfortable I am telling you the truth. I made a very simple yet costly mistake in giving you the wrong email address for paypal. All I can do for that is apologize.

If you look at those threads they are from LAST YEAR. I am not making any trips anywhere this year. As far as ebay, yeah I made a couple purchases for like $12.

FYI a quick search on Google shows you having made purchases on Ebay a month ago and you were talking here about making a trip to CO in March/April. You also mentioned a baby in the for sale thread. Frankly all this makes your story hard to believe. The only saving grace is your record in heatware/ebay which appears to be in good standing.

If you can resolve this by Friday great, but this will be done thru the paypal dispute and claim process.

I don't want to drop my whole sob story in your lap but I do owe you some explanation. I'm not trying to scam you or screw you around. I have been unemployed for nearly a year. When I gave you my paypal info I meant to give you the address for a new account I started in my wife's name. I had to do that because my paypal has a negative balance from paying the electric bill last month with my paypal card and not having the funds to cover it. I accidentally ended up giving you the address to my paypal account and now all the money you sent has been taken to cover the negative balance and there is still a balance. I needed the money from your transaction to be able to pay for shipping the bindings since we barely have enough money to put gas in my wife;s car so that she can make it to work. Someone has been telling me they were going to buy my board which would have cleared all this up but he hasn't come through. If he does I will ship the bindings as soon as I have that paymetn, Otherwise it will be Friday when my wife gets paid. I'm really sorry about all this, and sorry to kind of drop my sad tale of woe in your lap but you deserve some sort of explanation. If you are uneasy about me having the bindings I will gladly send you updated pics with today's date or whatever you want to set your mind at ease. This is the reason I am having to sell all of my gear in the first place which sucks in itself.Thank you very much for being patient so far, and I will get the bindings out to ASAP this week, Friday at the latest.

Thanks

Rob

Hey, I know it has taken me forever getting back to you. I will ship to Canada if you pay the extra shipping. Thanks.

Rob
I just checked it out. I had figured $10-12 to ship in US and the USPS website says about $33 to ship to you. So throw down an extra $20 and I'll send them up there.

Rob
Yup everything is there in the original box. PayPal address is stephaniemmanley@yahoo.com (Wife's Account)

Thanks,

Rob
Is there a typo in the address? It is not a PP registered account...
Yeah, I screwed that all up. the account email address is rfrichardson@yahoo.com but everything is in her name. Sorry for the confusion.
