So the ankle strap on the targas has the ability to swap EVA pads to adjust flex. I found it to be one hell of a job to switch pads even when the binding was not screwed into my board. I can't see myself ever being able to do it on the mountain.
It's just plain hard, but I really didn't find the need to swap them or remove them. Just having the EVA pad in there gives it nice support. I felt like without it, the stiff highback coupled with really flexy ankle strap felt too wonky.
Yea, it's a pain in the ass. I searched to see if I was doing it wrong or if there was a trick to it, but no luck. I threw the stiff pad in during setup and figured, I'd change it when I got home from the mt. if I don't like it. It's not something I see swaping a lot and not worth the effort to do on the mt.
aight true, haha it took me a good 10 minutes trying to change one at home
