Yeah, you definately should glue it (and/or trim it). Once these peels start they tend to grab anything and a minor whack can turn into a 4 inch topsheet peel. All hardware stores will have decent two part slow cure epoxy. There are a number of brands with syringes that work great. If you want to get fancy you can get epoxy pigment. For areas of black, etc, this can make for some hard to detect repairs.
