NS is a great company. They can easily tell the difference between warranty damage and normal wear and tear (which this is). If your board were to have an unrelated problem that was a manufacturer defect, NS would happily take care of you as would the retailer who sold you your gear. Solid snowboard companies want you to be stoked with your gear.
