I found the BM the perfect blend between surfy fun and confidence inspiring stability - exactly what I wanted. And the aggressive magnetraction on the deep sidecut makes for tenacious hold on hardpack/ice, which is what I ride mostly.
Best board I've ridden in the pipe! Light, easy to spin.
Easy to turn, but not at all squirrely.
I took it to Whistler last season. I found that charging the runs left me wanting a bit more stability. I demoed the TRice there and found it more stable (C2 BTX has less rocker in the middle than the BM's "enhanced" btx) so I bought that for when I'm bombing down a run or want even better carving ability than the BM offers.
Having said that, the BM is my main board. It covers most everything, including pow riding.
There are other threads on the BM on here. check those out. You'll find other very happy riders on the BM.
