binding angles

hi so this is going to be my first time "assembling" a snowboard, so I was wondering how i should set my angles. I know how to carve fairly well, I can blast down blues, and gotta sort of work my way down blacks. I have a Arbor Formula 161(rocker board). I want to set the bindings up where I will be able to improve my carving. I heard that for this you have to set up the bindings in a way where the toes of your boots are pointing in the same direction??. Some sample binding angles meant for carving would be helpful. I have no interest in doing doing park features... other than the occasional ride over the flat box thing. thanks!
