Yeah, I got out there today.
Conditions were rough. The snow was akin to shaved ice. I got a nice ice rash on my back from a slide down the hill once.
The snow wasn't the worst though, as you said it was the fog. Actually if we're being honest, it was clouds. The ceiling was 200 feet and fog under that so you're basically riding with maybe 3 seconds visibility depending on your speed.
The lifts were eerie, because it was so foggy/cloudy and empty the place had a haunted feel with only the occasional voice somewhere in the mist, close enough to hear but out of visibility unless you happened to catch their shadowy silhouette in the fog.
It was cool for novelty but I didn't stay long, only an hour or two. I came down with something overnight so I was sick, sore, I couldn't see shit with my goggle so I had to ride natural and if I got any speed my eyes watered so I had to go slow...which wore me out more.
You get the drift.
