boa has been around a while as is very durable from what ive herd. if you go that route make sure you get a boot with dual boa. speedlace is also a pretty good system.
boots are hard to get advice for. find your price range, find the stiffness you want then try on all the boots that fit what your looking for. not all boots fit everyones feet so what is awesome for one person would suck for another. when you narrow it down to a couple different models look online for reviews and go with what you like the best. for the best comfort id recommend grabbing some insoles like super feet, as well as having them heat molded. dont buy a boot just because its a cool brand or someone says is the best, get what you need and youll be happy/comfortable.
a good boot fitter will be able to find you the best pair for your needs.
