Honestly though you can fit all your waxing stuff in your board bag, iron goes in one binding (with the highback folded over it) and the scraper, wax, pads, etc can just lie flat on the board. Takes up very little room.
We aren't traveling with board bags, it's by bus and the dimensions of the bagage is like limited, and it's small very small I'm already doubting if my normal stuff will fit in it.

I'm thinking it might be for the better that I wax it before I leave?
