I'm sorry but I disagree... It's complete horseshit to run over somebody's gear. Some of us pay a lot of money for, and care about our equipment. If I damage my base on a rock, that's one thing, but for numb nuts to constantly hit the back of my board in line (as if it'll magically make the chair run faster, and therefore the line too) it's inexcusable.
I've learned that most people are oblivious though, so I actually position my board on an angle with the base facing behind me, so that it's a large barrier for them to hit. Once they've run into my board I can't gain anything by giving them shit, so I think it's better to be defensive instead of offensive. lol
My old riding buddy used to get downright aggressive with people. Made me laugh but sometimes he took it too far...
