That's getting really involved with waxing. You really don't need structure for anything other than the fluffiest of pow. Any level of rougher snow is going to completely do away your base structure.

When you do structure your base, you aren't applying much force when brushing. You can also structure with a scotchbrite. Other than that, brass is suited for the steps before waxing, not after. Reviews and David Z's rants
