Boots do make the prepared to spend some coin, probably buy several pairs and get them modded and insoles and etc. In the long run it will be less expensive to find a real boot fitter that spends time in helping you find, fit and mod a pair of boots (it may take several visits)....i'd say $400-500 with tip to bootfitter is not unreasonable.
