I used to board quite a bit in the past until the arrival of children which put the kybosh my snowboarding for a while. However, my boys are now of an age when Winter sports are back on the the agenda... week in Wengen in February (Yay!).
I used to ride a Burton Canyon 168 with CFX bindings but the board is pretty knackered now so I forked out on a new Custom 169W. This has the ICS system but my original intention was to get an adaptor and mount the CFX bindings on it. However, I am now minded to shell out and get a get some EST bindings. The question is which one.
I really like my CFX bindings as they are really responsive, particularly on the heel side (I am not one for the snowboard park - more of a back-country person). I think that I have narrowed it down to either the Cartel or the Diode so my question to you all is...
... is it worth shelling out an extra £115 for the Diode?
