The best value shuttle service I've found is epicrides.ca. 35$ day return from Vancouver which is good value but they can't offer one way
afaik. Greyhound or snowbus.com are your other options. Other than that, you can be lucky with a ride share using craigslist or the "UBC Whistler Ride Share via Ski and Board Club" facebook group. Patience and persistence is required though.
