So I ended up going with gore-tex everything and a very lightly insulated pants/jacket. Even with that, I'm still finding it a little warm after a few runs so far, but not too bad.

The biggest thing was actually the goggles...I didn't expect to upgrade those, but my RC36 lenses (36% VLT) had me riding on brail most of the day. Just got some blue sensor mirror (70%) and love them...big visibility improvement in flat light. I went with the smith phenom frames to save a bit, and I kind of regret not going with the I/O and getting a larger field of view. Not too happy about the blind spot area on the phenoms, but I'll manage.
