Makes me kinda sad and makes the heart turn a little when I think about spring and melting snow. I love summer and winter, but snow melting always just feels sad.
I live basically at the foot of Mt Seymour. Generally speaking if it is 5C or cooler in North Van and raining it will be snowing in the parking lot up top. At 6C in the city it is a crap shoot, usually wet snow. Another observation I have made over the years is if it is not 2C or cooler by the time you reach Mushroom parking lot ( about 2/3 the way up) it will be raining up top.
