what fascinates me about music, is how one's own tastes change over the years. and then how most people will persist with whatever they hitched onto in their late-teens to early twenties..... (he generalises)
apparently i used to go nuts for Gary Glitter (which in retrospect is a bit sinister)
my first album was Thriller by Michael Jackson
i then even had a go with Duran Duran, Prince, S-express and similar dancy things.
then came rap and hip hop.... as per the fotos of the oldies posted previously
and then suddenly came the onset of metal...(in the following order):
ozzy ozbourne
iron maiden
judas priest
motley crue
pantera
suicidal tendencies
henry rollins
sepultura
napalm death
carcass
and now for the past 9 months i have listened to little more than SYL
the missus tolerates my music ("i think its orrite" she says)
but everybody else absolutely hates what i listen to and demands i use ear goggles! i cannae bitch tho, coz i hate what they listen to... even michael jackson.
how comes?
