Ok, not really wake boarding, but I did finally break down and pick up a new Mountain board. I have the kite but am just not that big a fan of water so just have`nt got the motivation to go to Hood River and try the kite boarding. With gas prices, I wanted something I could do the kite boarding thing right here in the city parks, not to mention use the board on the logging roads in the hills around here. I am heading to the coast here in a couple of weeks where we fly the kites and this thing will be great on the packed sand. A good place to get the hang of this. Once I get this figured out, I am going to pack the kite with me up to Timberline and try it with the snowboard. This board also has the brakes but for kiting, I have them uninstalled.
This is the board I bought; it is the Core 95 model.
