I didn't really get into snowboarding until the 06/07 season which is when i joined both this and the other forum... but response here has been much better, and honestly that site's gotten too mig to matter to me.
A lot of forums are like that though, once they get too big, they begin to become too much work and headaches. The best forums are small-ish ones, with members that (mostly) know each other and can create a relaxed atmosphere that everyone (noob, and veteran) can feel comfortable in. Sadly, this mostly works for localized (region specific) forums, btu sometimes it works if theres a good vibe.
since the EC meet of 08 though, I haven't even visited that 'other' site
