If you want to ride green powder runs then you had better learn to like riding off piste in the trees. Green runs are groomed for newbies, it too hard for learners to ride in pow, they don't have the skills yet.
When different owners owned the mountain where I ride they didn't groom the runs much. It was always a newb yard sale on pow days, even on the easy runs.
