haha there is a hype about it because its good technology!! some other gnu btx boards are the street series and the chb. they both have a little softer feel. Another board that you could look into is the Lib Tech TRS its similar to the riders choice so its worth checkin out. All these boards can kill it anywhere on the mountain especially with the BTX. The only difference between them all is there core technologies (more pop, dimensions, materials, etc) also
