burton rampant pins and needles/numbness

Hi everyone I am new to the forum and I have read a lot of info from other threads on issues they have had with their boots but I can't seem to pinpoint my problem. I just bought the burton rampants (I was fitted by a very reputable shop) and used them for the first time last week. I ride regular and my left/front foot has been having the issues the right boot feels great. I was a bit bummed out having to call it a day after only 2.5 hours of boarding due to the pain. I have burton cartel bindings and I am new to the toe strap style bindings but I feel as though I am strapping them correctly.

any suggestions? will they get better with time? is there a way to break them in faster?
