I'm not sure about the bindings. The setup is pretty cheap ($100-ish for board and bindings). I'm a freestyle snowboarder (or at least I try to be), so freestyle wakeboarding is ideal for me, but it's so much different. It's really rough compared to s.b-ing due to the wakes by all the boats and choppy water from wind. I think I would like it a lot better the way you do it, but that's not possible in northern Michigan.
