Yep, that's happened in other sports and in some it's even gotten to the point of the whole "sport" revolving around the fake drama (
Example: Super Steroid "You Did What With Mah Gurl?" Cage Fighting, or whatever it's called.)
I wonder if snowboarding could become like THAT someday...
