I'm working towards my doctorate of veterinary medicine, while being a part time snowboard instructor. 99% of my money comes from loans or savings. On a cool note, I can do volunteer veterinary work almost wherever I want, so this summer I'll be in the Galapagos Islands neutering every cat and dog I can get my hands on.
So I guess my summer job title could be... an emasculator.
The southern US states could really use your services - it's a mess from what I hear. Many of the shelter animals are shipped up here from there.
Although the Galapagos seems to be a better locale than the south for a summer gig!
I might have asked you this when you first joined but I forget - are you focusing on small or large animal at Penn?
