I live in Ohio and got a pick-a-day pass which allows me to go once a week at a resort close to me...more like an hour and 20 minutes away. I have a weird work schedule so I usually go by myself since most of buddies that do ride are working. I just plug in the iPod and roll. A buddy of mine and I pretty much packed up and went to Seven Springs for 2 days which was a good deal...for the price and ride. He's a more advanced rider and I like being around somebody like that...not to hold my hand but to pressure me into going down runs I may not normally. It's good having that push and will only make you a better rider and we all know fear of the unknown is usually something that holds us back. Whether it's jibbing more or going down those blacker runs. Good times.
