[QUOTE=briko;645417]Thanks, guys.

Just looking for something equal or better as the Cartel, since I want to try something different (better shock absorption and better response without being too stiff wouldn't be bad though, errr if the ratchets don't suck and aren't sticky)

Malavita and Capo were on my list as well. To sum up here's what I'd been thinking about:

Union Atlas (downside: toe strap problems? ankle strap screw issue? -> knock out; would go for it otherwise)

Union SL (same problems? too pricey so far)

Malavita (too soft? less response?)

Ride Capo (too stiff????)

Ride Maestro (too soft? thin ankle strap?)

Nitro/Raiden Phantom?

Rossi Experience (too stiff?)

Any more thoughts about that/ other suggestions? Binding should have the same do-anyting ability as the Cartel.[/QUOTE
The Capo's aren't too stiff. The Rossi's are weird for me, I tend to stay away from them. The Capo, the Raiden Blackhawk (The phantom's are softer) And the Ride Maestro is basically the Ride Rodeo so go with the Rodeo instead of Maestro. If you like medium-stiff bindings that are amazing all around take the Capo's or the Blackhawks. If you're like me and like soft-medium flex for the park and groomer runs take the Rodeo. Union has some really nice bindings but their toes strap are really iffy for me. I don't like their feel. That doesn't mean you won't like them. My friends rave about their Unions but I just don't feel them. I prefer my Rodeo, 390's and Cartels.
