I hit killington up every couple weeks. My main advise is to try and avoid the lifts in front of base lodges...tend to be a lot more crowded. I never park at the main base area (K1), it gets nuts over there on the wknd. Snowshed / rams head is the "beginner" area. I always park at bear mountain, from there you have access to a lot of good terrain, skypeak quad, bear mtn quad. The areas I like best for blue/black terrain are bear mtn, needles eye area (take skypeak chair up from bear and head over) has some of the best riding on the mtn....some good trees if you follow a local too. The north ridge and canyon areas have some nice terrain as well. Traversing around really isn't difficult but it's easy to get caught up in it cuzzz the place is very spread out. Have fun on your trip.
