Do you think he needs to go that big?
My Legacy is a 163. I bought it at around 250lbs and rode it this season at 275lbs without feeling sketchy..
As for the board, you could even go with the Heritage since you have zero park aspirations. Same stiffness as the Legacy but it's damper. It does have cabonium though which raises the price another $50.
