i quit cold turkey in january. the hardest part for me was not having a cig in one hand when there was a beer in the other. so i had to do the terrible for a while, quit drinking. i didnt drink for about 2-3 weeks after i quit so then i didnt get those hardcore cravings.
another thing that helped me was joining a gym. i worked really hard to be healthier and i knew i couldnt work out and smoke. all in all its the best thing i've ever done.
