1. A base can "dry out".


2. A base has "pores" that open and close.

{sort of, I think a base can absorb wax}

3. An Extruded base can hold more wax than a Sintered base.


4. With regards to speed, Wax is more important than Structure.

{no sure, is a waxed unstructured base better than an unwaxed structured base, probably yes but would you rather have perfect wax on a so-so base vs so so wax on perfect structure ( maybe yes))

The writer of the article below seems to really know a lot about this, best one i have seen on it
