I've got the same mission as you. I rode for 5-6 years in my early 20's and never progressed past the bomb it down the hill stage. Now I'm 39 and actually wanting to learn correctly along with teaching my 6 and 8 year old girls the proper techniques. This forum along with youtube have been great. Sorry to hijack, just thought I'd let you know it's not lame at all in my eyes.
