It's not lame. Everyone u see doing switch 540s started the same way. It's lame to ride season after season never learning a damn thing but still going home and putting up pictures of yourself on Instagram and "hash tagging " "shredding" " rippin" etc.

Due to some 'issues' Ive had riding on low vis days, I picked this opportunity to try some things that I could with one knee in desperate need of surgery and the other being ravaged by arthritis, I still had a kick ass day learning to ride hard switch on a direction board with setback and with a forward stance. had some fun on a green trail going up the side, trying 360's to ride away switch QUICKLY toward trees (narrow trail - sharp halfpipe type hillside to right, trees then sharp drop to left).
