Hey everyone.. I am getting out of the Marine Corps in 2 weeks and will be driving from so cal to wisconsin..... taking me directly through utah and colorado. I would like to do a drive-ride-drive-ride-drive type thing on the way home or maybe a drive-drive-ride-ride-drive breakdown depending on peoples opinions which leads me to my question:

What 2 resorts (or what resort x2) should I plan on stopping at. I will be leaving March 1.. Also, what so of conditions can I expect in Colorado? I was in Utah last week of Feb last year so that should give me some idea, however I have never been to CO.
