I Have an opportunity to buy a Gnu 11up
I have a Sims 159 and i have about 1/2 Inch over hang with my size 10 boots
by the looks of things this board is only 10mm wider on the waist
The question is this,
is this board to wide for me ?
in my opinion wider is better
i ride a K2 162 wide and i love it
its a little harder to learn switch on and at first you have to get used to it
but im a noob and im sure some one will correct me
In my opinion that board might be to wide for you. I have two boots first is a size 11.5 DC boot, second is a 12 in 32boot. I had a Sims protocol when I first started boarding. It was wide like 26 wide or something. I had no toe drag, but dropped down to a 25.5(might be right) Rome agent. I ride freestyle so my bindings are set up duck style. I still have no toe drag. I think you can find a board that isnt so wide. If the board is at your store, take a binding and boot and set it on the board itself to see where your toes will be setup on that size of board. Good luck
How much toe over hang should one have,
I have read so many conflicting posts about toe over hang, my guess is that if im hanging over 12mm and, I get a board that is 10mm wider,
my over hang would only be 2mm is this correct ?
my bad size 10 boot
and the board is 26.5 or 27 mm wide
i only have my shit LTD board to compare to but from the moment i hit my first powder patch i fell in love with this board and boarding it self
