Their beginner area is a really great place to help a new rider in his/her transition to blues, and their runs are surprisingly long for a southern Michigan hill.
That sounds a lot like what I am looking for. I have started blues lately, but my last trip out was a bust - it was this past weekend and I forgot about the holiday. The hill was packed. I am assuming that weekdays should be pretty clear?
