Problem is there's already a ton of skate parks in the more densely populated areas. Off the top of my head there are municipal skate parks in Huntington Woods, Royal Oak and Troy which are free, skate park businesses in Royal Oak/Madison Heights, Auburn Hills, Rochester, Clinton Township, Roseville -- and these are just the ones I can think of/aware of, there are almost certainly many more that I don't know about.
And this biz model basically needs a skate park to help subsidize it. So there's a ton of competition in that arena already. Makes it a more difficult proposition...
