I'd say more the you don't ride as much as you think you do, the pay is shit, etc. The topic of snow carnies has been covered multiple times. I'd much rather be a bar tender in a resort town (work nights and actually make money) then a carny. Valet (rare unless you are in Whistler but hey they exist), bellman, etc. Any of those really.
