The X will only slow you down edge to edge, no benefits IMO.

That's good to know. I wear 2009 Burton Rulers in 10.5 so I'm thinking I'm in pretty good shape.

Raptor 164 it is!

One thing I've noticed on my brand new Raptor 164 and a 'new-in-plastic' demo 163 NS Cobra is that the Saucer Wax that is on there out of the factory is not great. Amazing speed on a hard-held edge but I feel the board tap the brakes when bombing or leveling out in the flats. I would recommend slapping on a fresh hot wax before the first ride. Can't wait to get on the mountain again!
