Raptor 164 it is!

One thing I've noticed on my brand new Raptor 164 and a 'new-in-plastic' demo 163 NS Cobra is that the Saucer Wax that is on there out of the factory is not great. Amazing speed on a hard-held edge but I feel the board tap the brakes when bombing or leveling out in the flats. I would recommend slapping on a fresh hot wax before the first ride. Can't wait to get on the mountain again!
Totally agree, in Snowolfs Summit review he mentioned the wax being subpar so I waxed before my first time on the slopes. Actually got a comment from a skier on a notoriously painful cat-track for boarders... "you must've got a pro wax on that board"...
